Friends of Mifflin is Thomas Mifflin School’s PTA/HSA PLUS! What does that “PLUS” mean? It means that Friends of Mifflin is FREE to join and is open to community members in addition to Mifflin parents and guardians and Mifflin educators and staff. That saying “it takes a village…”? Friends of Mifflin is able to provide resources and experiences for the students and teachers of Thomas Mifflin School due to the support of our little village of Mifflin parents and guardians as well as the East Falls community. It’s super easy to BE A FRIEND of Mifflin.
History
Officially established June 11, 2012, Friends of Mifflin (FOM) is a volunteer-led organization that is committed to the success of our neighborhood public school—Thomas Mifflin School. We aim to engage residents and stakeholders from the entire Mifflin catchment area.
VISION
Support Mifflin as an anchor for the diverse community of East Falls and a top choice for all families; and serve as a model of community based support for neighborhood public education across Philadelphia.

Manage overall objectives of the FOM.
