The whole school community - students, families, administrators, teachers, and staff - is invited to an end of the year picnic in McMichael Park on Thursday, June 5th. The picnic will start at 4:30pm and end at 8:00pm, so feel free to stop by whenever you can during that time. The park is located in East Falls and is bordered by Henry Avenue, Coulter Street, McMichael Street, and Midvale Avenue. There is ample parking on all the bordering streets with the exception of Henry Avenue.

We are asking that everyone bring their own picnic items, chairs and/or blankets. (No open flames or grills are allowed, however.) 

Friends of Mifflin will provide the following:

• An assortment of games and activities for all to play.

• A share table for those who want to bring food items to share. 

• A table to drop off or pick up gently used school uniforms for next school year.

• A porta potty!

A popsicle truck - Frios Gourmet Pops - will also be stopping by from 5:30-7:30pm. They sell amazingly yummy popsicles in tons of flavors for $5-6.00 per pop. They will donate 10% of the proceeds to Friends of Mifflin so that we can continue to support all of the wonderful things happening at Thomas Mifflin School.
