Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is Monday, May 5th through Friday, May 9th.

Friends of Mifflin is hosting a week of events for our Mifflin Teachers & Staff. HERE is our note home to families! Friends of Mifflin is here to support families as well as our Mifflin School Team! Already have plans for next week? That is amazing! We know there are many ways to express your gratitude!

THE SCHEDULE:

Saturday, May 3: The weather will be crummy, so we are eschewing our Chalk-the-Walk this year for Appreciation Week poster-making following our FOM General Meeting on Saturday. (Meeting at 8am, we will be working on various projects, including this one, until 11am)

Monday, May 5: We DONUT know what we would do without you!
FOM will bring donuts (and fresh fruit) and coffee for Mifflin teachers and staff beginning at 8am.

Tuesday, May 6: LETTUCE celebrate our amazing teachers & staff! 11am - 2:30pm
FOM will have a catered lunch delivered to the school, 11am - 2pm.

Wednesday, May 7: We’re ROOTING for our Mifflin Team!
Teachers and staff can choose from a variety of small herbs, annuals, or houseplants to spruce up their classrooms or homes! If your family has 4-inch plant pots to donate, please drop them off in the marked spot in the school library. Thanks!

Thursday, May 8: Thanks a BRUNCH, Mifflin, you’re a real TREAT! 11:00am - 2:30pm
Brunch & Dessert buffet, : Families may bring their favorite breakfast/brunch dishes and/or desserts and FOM will set up a buffet for teachers and staff to enjoy. Please let us know what you’re bringing so we can plan accordingly. Families please drop off items at the school lobby between 8am - 11am.

Friday, May 9: FRI-YAAAY for our Mifflin Teachers and Staff!
Students may deliver notes of thanks to their homeroom teacher and a specialty teacher or support staff member! Please consider gifting a gift card, flowers, and/or house/office plants.
