What is Giving Week?

Giving Week is an opportunity for local communities to come together on one day to support the needs of Friends of Mifflin.

Can I make a donation before Nov 12 or after Nov 19?

Yes! You don't have to wait until Giving Week to help Friends of Mifflin! You will receive a confirmation receipt at the email address you provide when you complete your donation. Your donation will be included in the total amount for Giving Week.

Why should I make a donation during Giving Week?

Your gift can help ensure that FOM can support the needs of students and staff at Thomas Mifflin School. Your donation will help FOM with its mission of supporting the needs of our students and staff – both today and the future. Unite with other generous people like you to help us reach our goal this Giving Week 2026.

Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes, your gift is tax deductible. Friends of Mifflin is a subsidiary of East Falls Community Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, registered community organization. You will receive an e-mail confirmation that will serve as your receipt for tax purposes.

How will my Friends of Mifflin Giving Week donation be used?

Donations made to our Giving Week campaign will go towards supporting the needs of the students and staff at Thomas Mifflin School through teacher/staff mini-grants, donations to the student activity fund, and other school-directed, Friends of Mifflin-powered endeavors.

How will I receive a receipt for my donation?

Upon completing your donation to our Giving Tuesday fundraiser you will receive a confirmation receipt for your donation at the email address you provided when you made your donation.
